Welcome to our blog, won't you come on in
Welcome to E-nough! Our blog is brand new and in progress, folks, so changes and tweaks will be happening in the next few weeks. Be sure to read 'About us' if you're wondering who we are. And a big muchos gracias to Dissident Frogman. He may wear a wetsuit but he's far from being all wet.
A little hodgepodge to start...like this, for example.
"...I do understand why people out there become suicide bombers -- it is out of desperation. If I was in their situation...I might just think about it myself."
This out of the mouth of a British Member of Parliament. She was, understandably, fired. I will never understand how some people convince themselves that calling someone 'desperate' makes their murdering of Israelis acceptable.
Why don't these bombers (the suicide part is, after all, irrelevant once they have murdered innocent people and become murderers) strap on their explosives and go squat Arafat's office until he hands over some of his stashed millions. Huh? THAT would seem logical.
'Give me a million, Arafat, or I will blow you and me up. I want to educate my family and my neighborhood so that we can start living our lives instead of trying to fulfill YOUR dream of eradicating the Jews from the planet!'
Of course, E-nough! won't be forgetting all the idiocy going down here in Wonderland, like this.
'The America We Love...The Other America that isn't Bush's'. Yeah, right. How dare they cover Liberty's face with that of The Lout? Vizzini said it all too well...INCONCEIVABLE! Putting that idiot's mug on your cover plays nicely to the French street, I know. You'll sell lots of copies.
On a lighter note, I enjoyed this from the Mystery Visitor. No place for French Cognac. Well said.
