Odds and ends
Have been very busy getting ready for my trip to DC and, frankly, had a few days off from watching or reading the news after Fallujah. One can only take so much.
Weasel tv was also so full of pre-election and post-election crap and the blindingly ineffective game of weasical chairs that ensued... All taken so seriously. Raffarin III, same government in its third version, will change nothing. Chirac has deliberately put the very popular (and therefore a threat to Jacques) Nicolas Sarkozy in a position of sink or swim. If he is seen as not doing well at his new responsibilities, Chirac will be able to gloat for years to come about the damage done to Sarkozy's career. It's odd that Sarkozy is in fact so well-viewed by the French electorate, when you think about it. He's so unlike them.
Between packing my bags and relaxing on this day of rest, let me propose to you a few links to while away the time. A resignation letter. Clouds in the Kofi. Collectibles. An article that somehow got published in USA Today. A business quiz. A courageous flag-bearer. A real man of action. Something to beat. Elastic-handed or not? She or he? Find out what you know about Cypress or Estonia. Arty facts. A mindreader.
A pleasant Sunday to all.
A photo of Yale ...??...
Are you going to visit some Skull & Bones member Valerie ??

It's cherry blossom time in DC. That's where I will very soon be.

I went and saw the Cherry Blossoms today. Extremely cold, windy, but the blossoms were at their peak. Hope you arrive soon, and Welcome to my city!!!!
Andy:
Cold I don't mind. Windy I don't mind.
