There's a bad moon on the rise

When I read this the first time, I thought it was a load of crock. Well, it ain't. Which brought to mind...

I see a bad moon a-rising. I see trouble on the way. I see earthquakes and lightnin'. I see bad times today.

Don't go 'round tonight, it's bound to take your life, there's a bad moon on the rise.

I hear hurricanes a-blowing. I know the end is comin' soon. I fear rivers overflowin'. I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

Don't go 'round tonight, it's bound to take your life, there's a bad moon on the rise.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Look's like we're in for nasty weather. One eye is taken for an eye.

Don't go 'round tonight, it's bound to take your life, there's a bad moon on the rise.

I have to go to South Bend, IN, home of Notre Dame University for a conference the first week in August. The conference is on the campus of said university.

I have been to this conference for the last 3 years, and have gotten to know quite a few people with the university, and who attend ND. Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy do I now have some questions for them. I’ve printed this out and put with my papers for the conference.

Thanks for making me aware of this.
