The 'Too Much Reality Show'

BB UK.jpg
UK's Big Bruvva has gone barmy.

A little background: Two contestants - young women without an ounce of gravitas twixt them - were fake-evicted a week ago. Ever since, they had been allowed to watch and listen to the remaining competitors, and, of course, hearing things about themselves that were not to their liking. Last nite, they were re-introduced into the house along with enough alcohol to put everyone into a right state.

Two of the contestants were particularly unhappy about this fake eviction - two faux men, Victor and Jason.

Brawling ensued. Of course. (Warning: uncensored blue language)

This year, desperate to keep the show commercially viable, the UK version of BB chose the theme 'Big Brother Gets Evil' and promised that life would not be easy for the confined. Maybe they should have opted for 'Big Brother Gets Too Realistic'.

How entertaining.

UPDATE:

I actually watched tonite's recap of the events on UK tv to see for myself what all the fuss was about and it seems very clear that the two men mentioned above, Victor and Jason, were bitterly disappointed that the 'evicted' Emma and Michelle were back. You could see the fear on them. The two women were suddenly dangerous to their 'game plan' and V & J were...running scared. Obviously, footage is edited but the guys definitely stepped over the line and became very menacing.

As I understand it, BB doesn't provide cigarettes to the inmates. So why allow alcohol in unreasonable quantities - ESPECIALLY when tensions are high? Amazingly, they waited for over 20 minutes before sending in security guards to stop the fighting. Disgraceful.

And, they've put Emma in solitary confinement while V & J get to roam free. That is very unfair.

This isn't good television. Pull it off the air!

Hooligans at soccer games, BB on tv... Where's the fun?
