NYC Letter: Another County Heard From

There's much good reading, or skimming, depending on your capacities, to be done round the blogosphere. We recently came across Done With Mirrors, copping some telling numbers from an excellent post on the French slave trade for our own post elsewhere.

DWM has the sort of posts we favor, sort of longish, when researched researched exhaustively, and with a large bite radius. The name cleverly suggests both a method and the rejection of same.

There is a regular Thursday feature, Carnival of the Etymologies, which puts the OED to shame and makes similar online features look phthistic.

DWM has been in the blog business since September 2K4 and is a Marauding Marsupial in the great big TTLB Ecosystem.
