Another Palestinian celebration
I was looking for toilet paper and found this, commissioned by the Palestinian Authority, celebrating both Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza strip and the late friend of France terrorist:
I'm afraid our French trolls, Stéphane & his pals, won't be able to get one, unless they change their vacation plans from Cuba to "Palestine", as only a couple of thousands of these have been available in local markets.
Meanwhile, indeed:
Hamas launched a competition Saturday for the best design of a Gaza pullout poster, according to a statement posted on the Islamic group's web site.Posted by Carine at August 8, 2005 11:43 AMThe design must portray the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip as a victory for Palestinian groups -- in particular, Hamas. The design must also show Israel's "desperation and defeat."
In recent weeks, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have been competing for credit for Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, each preparing elaborate celebrations, commissioning thousands of flags and frantically sewing clothing with their trademarks.
Today is the good time to recognize that the creation of the state of Israel, in response of the horrible genocide of the second WW, carried damage to another nation.
The beginning of the colonisation leds to palestinian resistance which leds to State's terrorism which leds to terrorist organisation.
It's simple but there are still some people who cannot understand it...
But most of the Israelis does.

And still here you come with no basic history. No basic facts. No knowledge. Just tidbits from different left-wing editorials you read in the French press.
Which "other nation"? Can you tell me? You don't know anything about Israel, and even less about the Palestinians so instead of giving lectures, start considering reading serious history books, about Israel and the U.S.
Stop spreading your ignorance toward and hatred against Israel here.
Posted by: Carine at August 10, 2005 08:39 AMThere has never been neither such a thing as a Palestinian nation nor a Palestinian state. Palestine is a geographic region, like Auvergne in Weaselistan. Watch out the Auvergne Liberation Front terrorists...
Neither State terrorism, for the raeson explained above, only barbed fanatics funded by the UN, Muslim states and EU -- first of all Weaselistan.
Palestinian 'refugees' have never been explelled in 1948. They left, no Israeli never forced them to go: 20% Israelis are 'Palestinians'. But 'Palestinians' say loud and clear they want to beat Jews off the sea, to deport them: 0% in 'Palistinian' ruled territories are Jews.
It's simple but people still don't understand it.
Posted by: ashamed-frenchman at August 10, 2005 09:27 AMActually, palestinian propaganda recommends death to Israeli jewish men (and their christian arab and druze allies) and enslavement for the women. Its worse than you thought!
Posted by: interventor at August 10, 2005 01:08 PMHad Israel never existed, had there never been a Jew on the planet, it wouldn't have changed anything.
The Persians would hate the Arabs or vice versa, or maybe they'd do it in the name of PETA or some other loonie organization but the bombings would continue.
Because that's what they do.

are you kidding ? it's a fact, and you will find it in israeli history books as well
it 's true that some of the arabs sold their houses/land but lot of them were "invited" to leave ;-).
history of palestine/israel is complicated, not black and white but jews were/are not always in the good side.

Have you never heard of the Deir Yassin massacre ?
Just go back to your history books.
Posted by: Another French at August 11, 2005 11:49 AMNo fredouil. You don't find it in Israeli history books. You find it in revisionist books, written by self-hatred gurus such as Benny Moris, and fascist crooks as Pierre Vidal-Naquet.
Ideological hateful revisionism is not History.
Posted by: ashamed-frenchman at August 11, 2005 11:50 AMThey were invited to become Israeli citizens. Many did, many did not. The ones who did and their descendents are still living in Israel. The ones who didn't . . .
Posted by: Jay at August 11, 2005 11:51 AMCarine :
Let me remind you, that I do not read french press (didn't know that the Time and the washington post, or the guardian were french press) so don't talk about things you don't know anything about, even if you do it every day.
Moreover I read newspapers from all over Israel State and from the West Bank also.
That's were I came to the conclusion that Israelis were ashamed of how their right-winger colons(or is it "morons" ?) are behaving and behaved toward palestinian.
Let me remind you, that I do not read french press . . . . so don't talk about things you don't know anything about, even if you do it every day.--

Read the Courrier Internationale Carine, you may learn something too.
Posted by: Stéphane at April 22, 2004 08:22 PM
Kiddie,
I have just too good a memory, so don't try me on this. Btw, is it in Courrier International that you read your "news" about Israel? That would explain everything. Why don't you give us a link, for a change? So that we can see what your sources are (if sources there are, of course).
Oh and also, Time Mag, The Washington Post and the Guardian are left-leaning newspapers - especially the Guardian, very objective newspaper btw -, so not that different from the French press' way of covering the news.
