Doing well in Weaselistan

Before I post something longer about the situation in France, I'd like to thank all those who sent messages or posted comments asking how I was doing.

The place where I live was okay, as well as the place where my family lives. Although Paris was also mostly untouched by the riots, you could and still can sense the tension in everybody's mind. Not that the Parisians are particularly smiling people in the public transportation - I akways thought of two REM songs to describe the Parisians in the subway: (1) Shiny Happy People, irony of course, and (2) Everybody Hurts - but it was worse, if such a thing is possible.

Anyway, the lack of posts was mainly due to the same reason as I had mentioned before, only, visibly, it is becoming more and more of a priority.
