Support free speech - Support Denmark
Time to take sides. And face the rampant hypocrisy.
Posted by Carine at February 3, 2006 10:50 PMYes, support Denmark.
I’ve got my Super Bowl support six pack ready to go….
Remember, BUY products made in Denmark!! In the USA, Carlsberg is distributed by Carlsberg USA which is a 100% owned subsidiary of Carlsberg Breweries. Carlsberg and Tuborg are imported directly from Denmark. Just so you know….
PS Carine, I noticed on the link you had they do have the flag in French….might be a good time for both to fly, no?
Tuborg beer for the Super Bowl. Lets go Dutch.
I am feeling a bit thirsty.
Posted by: Papertiger at February 5, 2006 04:28 AMSo it is free speech, beer and the Super Bowl that pulls you three out of your burrows. Good. You've been missed.
And for those who don't drink beer, may I suggest the wonderful butter cookies from Denmark? Alas, they only appear around here at Christmastime.
A-hunting I will go to support Denmark!

Respect for religous beliefs is important in this world. However, freedom of speech is equally important and actually inextricably tied to that freedom of religion. As an American of partially Danish descent, I support those Danes who would exercise their rights of expression. I realize that this type of freedom of expression is unusual in the Middle East and probably hard to understand for many. However, this violent response does not honor God or provide any meaningful room for dialogue between the cultures.
