This is so... funny now :)
What about a "we told you so"?
In yesterday's Libération, a Villepin loyalist says his man is "inaudible, no matter what he does." Le Monde's caricaturist Plantu portrays him as a down-on-his-luck aristocrat in a cardboard box, a broken bard's lyre next to him, while Mr. Chirac, in a beanie with a tattered French flag on top, desperately looks for a replacement. Le Monde reported over the weekend that President Chirac wants Mr. Sarkozy, whom he distrusts, to take over. But no sitting prime minister has won an election in France since 1978, and Mr. Sarkozy may not want this poisoned chalice, even if it is on offer.Posted by Carine at May 9, 2006 11:21 AMSo France may have to live a few more months with Dominique Marie François René Galouzeau de Villepin, or plain Galouzeau as France's satirical weekly Canard Enchaîné calls him. He looks so sad it almost breaks your heart.

Mère must have hated that poor boy to give him so many girl names.
