NYC Letter: Obscene
Palestine -- an imaginary state to be invented from land lost to Israel in war* -- a project so great it is not bound by morals or decency or any encumbrance whatsoever. Those prosecuting the Palestinian project in the field have placed themselves beyond any judgment. They have the same morals and appetites of the amoeba, which is to say none and violent.

Child snatching. Children as shields. Terrorists are not crippled by viral virtues or fond humanist notions. Ms. Sontag and Mr. Mailer notwithstanding, terrorists are cowards. But cowards hardly covers it. They have clutched evil. And evil is boundless.
The question is, what kind of state can come of this project? An amoebic state. An evil amoebic state.

My feeling about the so-called occupied territories is that there was a war, Israel urged neighbouring countries not to get involved in it once it started, they all jumped in, and they lost a lot of real estate to Israel because Israel prevailed in that conflict.
