France - Iran: the new partnership?

Apparently, France seems to be playing the same little "game" she has been playing with other dictatorships.

According to this site, Total would have been awarded a $7 billion contract and French bank Société Générale a $2.5 bilion contract by... Iran.

Another French bank, BNP-Paribas, the bank used in the oil-for-food fraud, has already loaned nearly $6 billion dollars to the terrorist state.

And then you wonder why Chirac gets excited all over again at the U.N.

It's like claiming peace and democracy while Paris is one of the world biggest military equipement supplier.

Let's notice that Total tried to make pressure on french governement for the same reasons in Irak.

indeed our italian leftist gov is trying to gather the crew onboard the lifeboat bound to save iranian nukes caliming italy to be the most important european economic partner of ayatollahs. maybe state owned oil company ENI, which is told to be the real FM of our country, is somewhat involved in our ONUnistic call of duty.
