France is tired

We knew that. And Ikea had some fun putting it in its ads, mocking the coming election on the way.

Translation below each ad.

Today, France is dragging her feet. France isn't moving forward. France is fed up. Yes, France is complaining. France is tired. She must wake up. But to be able to wake up, she must sleep well, and in order to sleep well, she needs comfortable and well-designed bedrooms. With Ikea, say YES to a dynamic France. Vote Ikea.

Today, the French do not debate anymore, do not exchange ideas. Family members don't talk to each other. Different generations do not understand each other anymore. Dialogue must be established again. For this, France needs places in which we feel like meeting again. France demands functional and personalized kitchens. With Ikea, say YES to change. Vote Ikea.

Well, France seems to have a pretty lively political life ! They have far left candidates scoring at 10% in major elections, far right candidates scoring almost 20%, greens, communists, socialists, liberals, etc... Great country.

And the new Quai Branly Museum is so nice, so extraordinary, so... french.
