28 juin 2007 (20Minutes.fr) - Il faut croire que l'ambiance n'y est pas bonne. Après Dominique Strauss-Kahn, c'est Laurent Fabius qui a annoncé jeudi qu'il allait quitter dans les prochaines semaines le Bureau national du PS, l'instance de direction du parti. «Il faut renouveler, a affirmé le député de Seine-Maritime qui entend «rester très actif» au sein du PS et qui tient à préciser qu'il n'est «pas du tout anti-parti».

Dans un entretien au «Monde», l'ancien Premier ministre se définit comme «un sage actif» et se déclare «préoccupé par l'atmosphère délétère qui règne parmi les dirigeants socialistes», souhaitant se «tenir à l'écart des déclarations quotidiennes contradictoires».

Brilliant! Having the Socialists bow out of the PS is a good first step toward reinventing the Party. Once everyone is gone the Party's fortunes should pick up. [Pause.] At least it will be quieter chez solférino.
