Si j'ai souhaité commencer ces visites par la Hongrie, au cœur de l'Europe centrale, c'est pour lever un malentendu. Il n'y a pas, pour la France, une vieille Europe et une nouvelle Europe. Il n'y a pas, pour la France, des pays majeurs et des pays mineurs. Il n'y a pas et il n'y aura jamais, pour la France, des pays qui ont droit à la parole et d'autres qui n'ont que le droit de se taire. Il y a des pays égaux en droits et en devoirs, qui feront la force de l'Union européenne.

One of the incumbencies on the Sarko presidency is to hop around Europa and reassure governments it is, well, that it is not a Jack presidency. That France is a partner not a patrician. That parity tempers proportion.

Pave wishes Sarko well in perfuming over Then-Jack's noisome imperium, but as our mission attests, Then-Jack, Now Ex-Jack remains a perduring stink (and this).
