Pave: Plenty Of Hate In France, IV
Le jour 329 de Sarko
As we all know it wasn't Germans who made all that trouble in WWII, it was the Nazis. And as we all know it wasn't the French that gave up the fight, handed over their country, and collaborated with those Nazis,* it was the damn Pétainistes (there seem to have been quite a lot of them).**
No, France when she is handed back to the real French, such a France has no room for bigots, racialists, anti-Semites. No room for Nazis.
PARIS April 2, 2008 (IOL/Sapa-dpa) - The French army has silenced a critic of three soldiers posing with Nazi insignia, the paper Le Canard Enchaine said in its Wednesday edition. The paper published a photo showing three paratroopers from Montauban in southern France doing a Nazi salute in front of a Nazi flag with a swastika.
France's army leadership however ignored the soldier's neo-Nazi tendencies and silenced a captain who had reported the events to his superiors several times since 2006.
... According to French radio, an investigation into the case was launched.

Posted by: jo at April 8, 2008 08:19 PMApparently the US still has room for Nazis (and it's legal):

As for the old Papin reference, we could play the tit-for-tat game with names like Henri Ford, a "real American" and notorious anti-semite Nazi sympathizer.
(Rayonement Americain 0)
So what's your point Damien?
Damien could add, that just after Nuremberg Court, all " the good nazis " were invited in USA to collaborate and to help his fellow citizens to build the atomic bomb, and all the skyrockets for the NASA ...
USA should thanks the nazis !
Not to mention Coca Cola who was making business with them during world war 2, and Prescott Bush who was dealing with them in the same period ......
Nice picture, don't you think so ????

No need to comment folks, Jo/Max/whoever, finds his own posts sufficient.
Yet in seven posts Jo/Max/whoever still leaves our post unanswered. How is it that Nazis or Nazi pretenders run loose in the French army?
Apparently Jo/Max/whoever, cannot formulate a coherent response -- hence the several posts -- or he has no idea what his counter-argument is -- hence the several posts -- or perhaps he simply wishes us to admire his cut & paste skills.
Ah, the French mind on display.
It is always rich when a franchouille tries to shame America with the Holocaust. Here's a simple reality check, ask any Holocaust survivor who liberated Dora Mittlebau, Buchenwald, Flossenburg, Dachau, or Mauthausen. Here is a clue, it wasn't the French. Now ask this same person which national rail service shipped Jews off for extermination. Here is a clue, it wan't Amtrak. As for keeping the Nazi war machine humming along, we would ask what country's government had a formal arrangement worked out to supply Nazi Germany with workers (Service du Travail Obligatoire)? Here is a clue, it wasn't the government of "Henri Ford". Finally, Jo/Max/whoever might want to tell us what country provided volunteers (and here) to the Wehrmacht? Here is a clue, it wasn't the Third Army's country of origin.
As we said, rich.
