NYC Letter: Obamania In...Libya

There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama. All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency.

Alone in seeking the nut-case tyrant and wacky despot nod (and here), Mr. Obama scores big with Muammar "Wacky" Gaddafi.

But is Muammar an operative of puppet master Karl Rove? The Muammar endorsement is rife with misinformation about Mr. Obama, misinformation the Obama campaign considers smears. For example, calling Mr. Obama a Muslim is a smear. Well, that's wrong, he is not. But why is this a smear? Ask these folks. Ask them to say explicitly what they only suggest is defaming about being a Muslim.

That vast right wing conspiracy is truly vast.
