NYC Letter: Quote Of The Day: Quin Hillyer

Day 115 of CHOPE

If somebody were deliberately trying to undermine the very fabric of these United States, he would first vow not just to change its policies but to completely "change America," and then would do just about everything Barack Obama already has begun to do as president.

Quin Hillyer,
senior editorial writer at the Washington Times
and senior editor of The American Spectator,
musing on Mr. Obama's larger design
OBAMA THE DESTROYER
May 15, 2009 (The American Spectator)

To be sure, this is inflammatory, but do the full read.

Most people put a conventional spin on Mr. Obama's CHOPEy campaign talk. Voters saw the CHOPE they wanted and few grasped the CHOPE Mr. Obama intended.

So stepping back and reviewing the highlights of Mr. Obama's extraordinary presidency to date, we are struck -- gobsmacked -- by the extraordinary recklessness (this and this and this and this, for examples), the extraordinary cluelessness (this and this and this and this, for examples), and the extraordinary incompetence (this and this and this and this, for examples).

But will Mr. Obama destroy America? [Pause.] Well, he's certainly off to a strong start.

CHOPE.

Bankrupt. Nationalize. Destroy.
