NYC Letter: Joe On The Job VIII
UPDATE 07.22.09: This goes a way toward explaining the diminished spontaneous assembly for Joe "I'm Humbled" Biden.
OBAMA'S POPULARITY DIPS IN VIRGINIA
July 10, 2009 (Virginia Pilot) - Results from a Public Policy Polling survey released this week indicate that 48 percent of Virginians approve of the job Obama is doing while 46 percent disapprove.... Last year, Obama became the first Democratic presidential candidate to carry Virginia in 44 years en route to the White House.

Day 179 of CHOPE
Joe "Hi-Q" Biden,What's humbled me, as you walk out, I mean, everywhere I go, crowds spontaneously assemble. ... People stand up and clap. I mean, it's humbled me.
VP and humbled crowd magnet,
spontaneously bursting into self-adulation
GOOD MORNING AMERICA
April 30, 2009 (ABC)
AT J. SARGE, BIDEN DEFENDS STIMULUS PACKAGE
RICHMOND, Virginia July 16, 2009 (RTD) - Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. strongly defended the economic stimulus package today, telling an audience at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College that it has saved the economy."I'm absolutely, positively confident we are on the right track," he said of the $787 million package.
Biden addressed a crowd of about 140 community college students and invited guests.

SPONTANEOUS ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
Star Power.
Richmond proper has a population of some 200,000. The greater metropolitan area is estimated to be a million two. Team Barry carried Richmond with 79.85% of the city vote and flipped the traditionally red state with 53.63% overall. Less than 9 months later, Mr. Biden can barely draw an audience on a college campus. [Pause.] Consider the message. Consider the messenger.
At least this beats Wattsburg.
CHOPE.
No growth. No jobs. No money. Right on track.
